| How to find internships in Gujarat

Every fresher in Gujarat knows the sentence: "Experience required." It appears on job after job, and it leaves a student asking the obvious question: how do I get experience if nobody will give me a first chance?

That question is why Gujarat Internship exists.

The problem we set out to solve

Many job portals are built mainly for experienced professionals. A fresher who opens them finds roles that need years of work, filters that don't fit and little guidance on where to start. On the other side, many companies in Gujarat are ready to welcome interns and freshers, but they have no simple way to reach them without paying for expensive listings.

Students and companies wanted the same thing and had no easy place to meet.

The idea: one portal, dedicated to freshers, free for both sides

We built Gujarat Internship around three promises:

  • Dedicated to freshers. Every opening is meant for students, freshers and early-career candidates.
  • Free for students and for companies. No fee to apply, and no fee to post.
  • Checked before it goes live. Every new post is reviewed by our team, so students see real, clear opportunities.

What we built along the way

We kept improving the portal by listening to both sides:

  • A simple hiring partner dashboard, where companies post openings and review applicants in one place.
  • Easy Apply, so a student can apply in minutes instead of filling long forms.
  • A complete address with street, city, state and pincode on every post, so students know exactly where they would work.
  • A minimum description length, so every post explains the role, the work and the skills required.
  • Clear titles and cleaner pages, so openings are easy to find in search.

Results of Last Month

  • 220 applications from 214 individual students
  • 20 different openings received applications, about 11 applications each on average
  • 9 hiring partners received applicants, and 8 new hiring partners joined the portal
  • 11 new openings were reviewed and approved
  • 18 applications moved beyond first screening into the qualification and interview stages

Almost every application came from a different student, which tells us the portal is reaching many new candidates and not the same few. Visitors read job details before applying instead of leaving after a glance.

What we learned

Clear posts get better applications. When a company explains the work, the skills and the learning, students apply with more confidence and send more relevant applications.

Students want honesty. They look for real opportunities, a real location and a real description. That is why we review every post.

Freshers want a first step, not a perfect profile. Many of our applicants are applying for the first time. A short, sincere application with a clear reason often works better than a long one.

An honest note on hiring outcomes

We share only what we can confirm. Hiring decisions belong to our hiring partners, so we will publish hiring and placement numbers as companies confirm them. We would rather report fewer results that are true than more that nobody can check.

How to get the most from the portal

Students: read the full description, apply to roles that match your skills, and tell the company in two or three lines why you want to learn there. Keep your profile and resume current.

Companies: post a complete description with a real location and a clear role. Complete posts save your team time and attract more relevant applicants. Posting is free.

What comes next

We will keep adding hiring partners across Gujarat, publish more guides for students, and share verified results as they come in. If you are a student, browse the latest openings today. If you are a company, post your first opening and meet candidates who are ready to learn.

Thank you to every student who applied, and every hiring partner who gave a fresher a chance.
